Sadie Davis was born in middle-Tennessee on July 13, 2011.  She was healthy and beautiful.  Her Mommy and Daddy and older brother were so excited to meet her.  She had grandparents, great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who welcomed her with excitement.  Over the next 15 months, Sadie learned to walk, talk a little, and play a lot.  Her hair was silky and blonde, and her eyes big and blue.  Sadie's smile brightened everyone's day who chose to look her way.  Then, in November 2012, Sadie was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, called CNS AML.

But cancer does not define her.

Sadie is happy.  She is joy.  She is beauty.  She is love.

And she is in Heaven.

Sadie lived only 17 months and 8 days on this Earth, but her story truly has only just begun.  You see, Sadie is leaving a huge legacy through the story of her life, and through the people willing to share it.  God allowed Sadie to be here just long enough to make sure that her life would make a big, big difference.  Not just while she was here, but afterward, through the lives of those who are impacted by her story.  Through Shine On, Sadie, there will be lots of ways to love big and spread sunshine to children and parents in a "Pay it Forward" kind of way.  God has a plan for each of our lives, and although Sadie didn't get to stay here on Earth for very long, His plan for her is BIG.

Shine On, Sadie!
