SHINE ON, SADIE!
RAK:  Random Acts of Kindness

July 13th is Sadie's birthday.  To honor her sweet life and to shine down some love, friends from all across America will be doing random acts of kindness for someone else on her birthday.

Last year, several people left gift cards for strangers, tipped their server well, bought coffee for the person in line behind them.  Some spent some special time with their own kids.  Some gave to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of Sadie.  Some gave to a local girl here in Mt. Juliet who lost all of her belongings in a house fire.  Everything was done with a loving heart and a willingness to care.

A few of my friends did something that I will never ever forget.  Sadie's b'day fell on a Sunday, and Tim and I were at The Journey Church teaching the toddler class.  The next thing I knew, friends started showing up with yellow balloons to give to all the kids after service.  It was amazing to see all of the kids running around with their Sunshine Sadie balloons, and I even saw some of them lift their balloons to Heaven after they went outside.  It was the best!

Thank you all for joining in on reaching out to others.  This is a beautiful way to let our girl's legacy continue on in the lives of so many people.
